What Haiku Deck subscriptions are available?
We've got a range of subscription types outlined here. We also offer unique pricing for qualifying nonprofit organizations, public-sector educators, and students.
I am a not-for-profit educator/student but I don't have a .edu email address. Am I eligible for education pricing?
In many cases, yes. Reach out to us at support@haikudeck.com and let us know your account email address so we can investigate and put you on the right subscription plan. Please note, if you're a for-profit educator selling courses or if you're using Haiku Deck in any for-profit pursuit, you do not qualify for our nonprofit or education pricing.
Will I get a reminder before my subscription renews?
If you choose the yearly subscription we will send an email to you a week before the renewal. This email will sometimes get caught in users' SPAM filters, so we recommend checking your account page if you wish to know your renewal date. We do not send monthly reminder emails to month-to-month subscribers.
How can I update my credit card or get the billing history?
Visit the account page to view billing history or to update your credit card. If you do not see the billing history button it means your subscription has already ended, in which case you should contact customer support for billing history. Be sure to include the email address you used when creating your paid subscription so we can properly find your account.
I was in the middle of my trial period, why did I get billed?
Most of the time this is because the user chooses to use the file download & export feature which is not included in the free trial. We note this on the pricing page before users chose their subscription plan. Then when trial users try to download their presentation, we prompt them again with a message that reads, "Ready to download your presentation? By exporting your presentation your free trial will end and your credit card will be charged."
Do you offer refunds?
Per our Terms of Service, we do not offer refunds. Under rare circumstances, if there has been an error, we will make exceptions. If you believe there to be a mistake regarding your account, please fill out this form and we will try to get back to you within a few business days if you qualify for special consideration.
I just want to use Haiku Deck for a short time and do not want to subscribe. What option do you have for me?
This is why we offer a month-to-month subscription option on Haiku Deck Pro. This is an automatically renewing subscription, but can be cancelled at any time.
What happens when I cancel a paid subscription or a free trial?
After the subscription period ends, you will lose access to the features of your paid subscription. When you try to use the paid features, you will be prompted to upgrade.
How do I cancel my subscription (made on the website)?
Visit www.haikudeck.com/account/cancel and follow the prompts all the way through until you receive a confirmation message.
How do I cancel my subscription (made in the iOS app)?
Haiku Deck subscriptions made via iTunes through the iPad or iPhone app have to be cancelled through the app. On your device, tap iPad Settings --> iTunes & App Store --> Tap your Apple ID --> Tap View Apple ID--> Scroll down to subscriptions --> Manage/Cancel your subscription to Haiku Deck Pro.
Why don't you have a phone number I can call?
We are a small company and are not able to offer phone support to our global customer base. We do offer very short reply times for account related issues during normal business hours. For fastest service, email support@haikudeck.com. Include your the email address that you use for your Haiku Deck account and, for payment related issues, the last 4 digits of the card that was billed.
