FAQ: What languages is Haiku Deck available in?

Haiku Deck for iPad is currently available in eight languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.

To use the app in those languages, you have to have your iPad's native language set to one of the above languages. If you'd rather leave your iPad in English, you can create Haiku Decks using international keyboards.

To change the language of an iPad:
- Go to the Settings app
- Choose 'General' on the left
- Choose 'International' on the right
- Choose 'Language' on the next screen
- Choose a different language, and tap Done in the top right.

To add international keyboards:
- Go to the Settings app
- Choose 'General' on the left
- Choose 'International' on the right
- Choose 'Keyboards' on the right
- Tap 'Add New Keyboard' on the next screen
- Choose any additional languages you'd like to type in
- To use another keyboard when typing, tap the globe symbol to the left side of the space bar (will only appear when 2 or more international keyboards are enabled)

If you are on the web, or using a language not listed above on the iPad:

Some languages are supported by the various fonts available for our themes while others are not. The best first step to try if you're having trouble is to change your theme to another with the steps in this article.
